We are bringing the finance office into this decade.

Dealeredge F&I is built by people who work with dealerships every day. We have sat in the finance office, run the deals, fought the systems, and watched good stores lose customers to a process that made them wait.

Car retail has modernised nearly everywhere except the last room. A customer can shop, value a trade and get approved from the couch, and then the deal stops at a desk down the hall, waiting for one finance manager who is already with somebody else.

That gap costs stores real money, and it is not because anyone is doing a bad job. It is because the finance office was built around a room, a filing cabinet and a set of tools that never talk to each other. So we are rebuilding it around the deal instead.

Dealeredge F&I puts your finance manager wherever your customer is. The interview happens before they sit down, identity is confirmed while the car is being cleaned, and the conversation, the numbers and the paperwork all live on one record your whole store can see. Your people, your deals - we build the room they work in.

Our goals for the next room in the dealership

Not a mission statement. These are the four things we measure ourselves against.

  • Take the finance office off the hallway

The finance office is still the part of the sale that makes people wait. It should reach the customer wherever they are, on the device already in their hand, and it should start before they sit down.

  • One system instead of six

A deal today is spread across a phone, a texting app, a scanner, a rate sheet and somebody's memory. We are collapsing that into one deal record where every step leaves a mark.

  • Security a dealer can pass an audit with

Financing dealers carry real obligations over customer data. Separation between stores, two-step sign-in and an audit trail are built into the foundation here, not sold as an upgrade.

  • Software that respects the people using it

Salespeople and finance managers are not going to read a manual. If a screen needs explaining, the screen is wrong, and we would rather rebuild it than write the training slide.

Four things we do not trade away

Say what it does

We do not sell a roadmap in the present tense. If a feature is not finished, it is not on this site and it is not in a demo.

The deal is somebody's life

It is the second biggest purchase most people make. The software should reduce the anxiety in the room, not add to it.

Earn the data

We hold licences, incomes and credit details. Every one of them is treated like it belongs to the customer, because it does.

Small, and close to the work

The people building this answer the phone. There is no support tier between you and someone who can change the product.

Who you are dealing with

A small company, which is the point: it is why the person who answers you can also change the software.

  • You talk to the people who build it

No account manager in between, and no support tier that has to escalate your question to somebody who can actually change the software.

  • Built by people who have worked the desk

The product is shaped by what a finance office actually does at five o'clock on a Saturday, not by what looks tidy in a demo.

  • Your feedback lands in the product

A store telling us a screen is wrong is the fastest way that screen gets fixed. That is the advantage of being small, and we intend to keep it.
