How Dealeredge F&I handles information on this website and in its software. Plain words first; the legal detail follows.

Who we are
Dealeredge F&I (“Dealeredge F&I”, “we”) makes software for the dealership finance office and offers IT, compliance and website services to dealerships. This policy covers this website and our software. Questions go to info@dealeredgefi.com.
What this website collects
- What you send us. The contact form asks for your name, work email and a message, and optionally your phone number, dealership, number of rooftops and what you are asking about.
- Spam limits. Your network (IP) address is used to limit how many messages one place can send. We keep only a salted one-way hash of it, separate from your message, and delete it within a day of the one-hour limit passing.
- Page views. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not follow you across sites. It records the page, the referring site, and your browser, operating system, device type and country.
- Cookies. This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or tracking cookies.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (address, browser, page and time) for a short period to run and protect the site.
How we use it
To answer your message and follow up about what you asked, and to keep the website working and secure. We do not sell personal information, do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and do not add you to a mailing list.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that run the website for us, each limited to that job:
- Hosting (Vercel) and the database that stores contact messages (Google Firebase).
- Our email providers (Resend, Cloudflare and Google), which deliver your message to our inbox and carry our reply.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or to a buyer if the business is sold, under this same policy.
Information in our software
When a dealership uses Dealeredge F&I, it records information about its customers so the finance office can work the deal. Depending on the features the dealership uses, that includes:
- names and contact details of buyers, co-buyers and other deal contacts;
- vehicle, deal and product details;
- the customer’s answers in the finance interview and the consents they give;
- identity-verification results;
- documents the dealership uploads;
- text messages, voicemails, and records of calls and video meetings with the customer.
We process this on the dealership’s behalf, as its service provider. The dealership decides what is collected and gives its customers its own privacy notice under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. We use this information only to provide the software to that dealership. We do not sell it, use it for marketing, or disclose it to anyone except the service providers that run the software (hosting and storage; calls, texts and email; video meetings; identity verification; address lookup; and, when a dealership turns it on, a document-reading service that fills in vehicle details), as the dealership directs, or as the law requires. Because we disclose it to no one outside those exceptions, there is no sharing to opt out of.
The same practices apply after a dealership stops using the software, until the information is deleted or returned under its agreement with us. If you bought or financed a vehicle and have a question about your information, contact the dealership; we will help it answer you.
How we protect it
- Every page is served over HTTPS, and browsers are told to use nothing else.
- Contact messages are kept in a database that refuses all access except our own server.
- In the software, each dealership’s records are separated in the database itself, so one store cannot see another’s.
- Staff accounts use two-step sign-in, passwords are stored only as a slow, salted hash, roles decide what each person can see, and an audit trail records who opened or changed what, and when.
No system is perfectly secure, but these are the protections in place today.
How long we keep it
Contact messages: as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of our conversation with your business. Ask and we will delete yours sooner. Spam-limit hashes: deleted within a day of the one-hour limit passing. Information in our software: for as long as the dealership’s agreement with us says, then deleted or returned.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
- give you a copy of it;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- not sell or share it (we do neither).
We will not treat you differently for asking. You can use an authorized agent. Email info@dealeredgefi.com; we will confirm the request comes from you, usually through the email address it concerns, and answer within 45 days. If we need longer, we will tell you why, and take no more than another 45 days. Information we hold for a dealership is handled through that dealership.
If there is a breach
If a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you as Florida law requires (section 501.171, Florida Statutes: without unreasonable delay and within 30 days), and we will tell any dealership whose customers are affected so it can meet its own obligations.
Children
This website and our software are for businesses. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes and contact
We will post any change here and update the date at the top. Questions or requests: info@dealeredgefi.com. See also our terms of use.
